The leaves are falling
Like red and gold confetti
Welcoming autumn
This is my submission to :iconlive-love-write:'s writing prompt, the theme this week being autumn. Written in the haiku format.

I'm glad you enjoyed the haiku. I always had a soft spot for this one - I love autumn, especially the colours and the haiku just seemed the perfect way to express it.

I'm really liking all the autumn haikus; they're all so different. :heart:

I love the use of 'red and gold confetti', I have never heard that saying before I don't think; and it works so well.

Thank you very much, for both the comment and the fave. I got the idea of confetti from walking under some trees that were shedding leaves - the sun was shining and picking up the colours and it reminded me of confetti. The haiku came from that image.
